2. Drive the Pig Trail.

3. Go see Louisiana Purchase State Park.

The boardwalk makes it an easy trip.
4. Do the Prairie Grove Battlefield driving tour.

You can get an audio CD for the self-guided tour at the visitor center.
5. Take the Knapp Trail Tram Tour at Toltec Mounds Archaeological State Park.

8. Check out the views from the Cameron Bluff Overlook on Mount Magazine.

9. Rent a cabin at a state park.

This one is at Lake Catherine, but you can also find one at Devil’s Den, Lake Fort Smith, Mount Magazine, White Rock...well, you get it.
10. Go see Mammoth Spring State Park.

11. Artist Point/Highway 71

You can drive beautiful Highway 71 to Artist Point and take a gander from those beautiful overlooks, then keep driving the rest of the Boston Mountains Scenic Loop and enjoy the gorgeous mountains.
