There’s many a day trip to take in Arkansas, from scenic drives to waterfall tours but one of the most delicious will be this donut trail! Now we love our Shipley’s and Krispy Kremes around the state but we’ll leave those to Texas and Kentucky, respectively. These donut dealers are all Arkansas locals! Irish Maid has been a favorite in Fort Smith for over 60 years! Their maple bars are a perfect sugar rush to any morning, though they have plenty of selection. Make it a balanced breakfast by ordering the maple bacon bar, instead. For hours and such, follow their Facebook Page.

A newer-to-town but still delicious stop is Mountainburg's Uptown Frills. Unlike most of our other morning-only shops, Uptown Frills is a bistro that's open for lunch and early supper.
