No hiking necessary when you want to chase Crooked Creek Falls! It’s not the only hike-free waterfall in the state but it is one of our favorites. Crooked Creek Falls is easy to get to and nearby other must-see natural attractions (like this backpacking trail). Add it into your longer excursions or just pack up the kids for a breezy waterfall trip. This park-and-you’re-there waterfall is gorgeous all year round so let’s start exploring:
So you've visited Little Missouri Falls, did you know you could add on to your Arkansas waterfall adventure?
The Little Missouri Falls is an easy hike but it's not the only one in the area! Less than three miles east of the Lil' Mo is another easy to reach waterfall - Crooked Creek Falls.
The road to Crooked Creek Falls isn't paved but it is easy to navigate.
It is a little crooked like the waterfall but no off-roading vehicles are needed. From where you parked at Little Missouri Falls you'll travel along Mine Creek Road and about a mile down Caney Creek Wildlife Management Area. You can view a map right here.

Crooked Creek winds along Caney Creek Wildlife Management Area and leads up to a gorgeous sight.
The falls are gorgeous any time of the year but are especially rewarding during the warmer months. Crooked Creek empties into a pool that's perfect for wading. Pack a picnic and a floatie and you're set!
The Natural State is filled with beautiful sights but we especially love the ones that don't require long hikes!
Even though the "hike" is short, be sure to practice all of the Leave No Trace Principles. For more details on the area head here.
