I am a nature lover and self-proclaimed foodie wrapped in one package. In my previous life, I was an Accountant, but numbers were boring and writing is the only thing that fuels my soul. So, I write because it's my freedom...it brings me joy. When I'm not writing dope articles for OnlyInYourState, I am writing and editing articles for my online blog on Medium.com. Or, when I get the chance, I am off on a trip with my family chasing waterfalls, or simply exploring the great outdoors. My mantra is to always find the best part of every day and bask in it.
Arkansas isn’t known for getting a lot of snowfall. In fact, the winters are usually pretty mild. But on occasion, when there is a cold blast, most folks prefer to hibernate until “Jack Frost” has gone on his way. However, some folks enjoy the frosty season. Luckily, there is a small town in NWA that is the ideal place to escape. That town is Gravette, and it’s the coziest winter town in Arkansas. The town comes alive under a blanket of snow, and you’ll love spending cozy nights in this winter wonderland.
With less than 4,000 residents, you know what you’ll find in Gravette - a small town full of charm, cute shops, friendly folks, and more.
…but for folks who love spending time outside, this winter wonderland is just the escape you need. The nearby hiking trails are always pretty under a blanket of powdery snow.
Of course, if you live in the area, your yard could be the perfect haven to build snowmen, make snow angels, and even go sledding. The kids will especially love this!
Camp Terra Rose, a 35-acre campsite on a working cattle farm, is the perfect winter destination. Spend nights roasting marshmallows or drinking hot cocoa by a campfire.
I don’t know about you, but I can imagine myself waking up every day to this enchanting Ozark view. So, whether you love exploring the great outdoors or cozying up inside a rustic cabin, Gravette is the destination for you.
After all, the town comes alive during the winter months, and we believe it’s arguably the coziest winter town in Arkansas.
Have you been to Gravette during a snowfall? If so, tell us what you love the most about this winter town in NWA. Also, if you’re searching for more towns to visit, experience winter magic in nearby Bella Vista.
