Saddle up and take a tour with Boston Mountain Horse Camp. Along the way you’ll discover waterfalls, vistas, and more natural treasures in the heart of the Ozark National Forest. Pack up the family, load up your horses and get ready to make plenty of memories here! Let’s take a horse-powered excursion through the wilderness and see what gems we can find:
Along the northeastern edge of the Ozark National Forest resides an equine gateway to adventure.
The Boston Mountain Horse Camp provides a stunning backdrop for your next horseback getaway. They're located north of Witts Springs and offer guided trails as well as horse-friendly camping.
The outdoor expects of Boston Mountain Horse Camp have created and marked an extensive trail system through the forest.

The trails vary from short tours to day long excursions.
Take a quick ride around the property or venture further into the wilds for 10-20 miles of trailblazing. Boston Mountain Horse Camp has not only highlighted the best routes on their maps but they've also marked where to take breaks, too!
Multiple waterfalls are along these routes including Sulfer Falls, Whiskey Still Falls, and even Richland's famed Twin Falls! Sulfer Creek and Richland Creek have numerous unnamed falls too, so there's always a reason to come back and explore more.
The scenery here is downright jaw dropping, especially when you reach the bluffs! The pictures are fantastic but experiencing the fresh mountain air, chirping birds, and warm breeze is a treat for every sense.
From waterfalls to bluff views, Boston Mountain Horse Camp is your gateway to a true horseback adventure!
Just BYOH (bring your own horse) and pick a trail! The camp has 10 sites and 20 indoor stalls. Overnight stays are $25 per campsite (stalls are $5) and come with water and electricity. To learn more follow the Boston Mountain Horse Camp Facebook Page.
