I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
Lake Catherine State Park really is one of the most underrated gems in Arkansas. It’s 2,180 acres of pure Natural State beauty in western Arkansas’s Hot Spring County. The park’s crown jewel, of course, is Falls Creek Falls, a 10-foot-tall cascade that’s practically perfect. The hike to see this waterfall is equally extraordinary, and it’s also one of the most accessible trails in Lake Catherine State Park. Arkansas’s Falls Branch Trail is a 1.7-mile loop trail that leads to a magnificent hidden oasis, complete with a cerulean pool and a wondrous waterfall.
