The yarn bomb was woven by 15 members of Crochetitvillle, a local crochet club. The group originally formed in 2019 and aims "to create a yarniverse of color, compassion, and community spirit with projects that engage, inspire, and enlighten." Gina Gallina Dulling, leader of Crochetitville, has had her work featured in the Block Street Block Party as well as in the Green Candy public art project in 2017.

The building's "sweater" is composed of over 1,800 crocheted squares. This means each person in Crochetitvillle created about 120 squares each!

Despite the wild weather the yarn bomb is still bold and beautiful. The display will be up until the end of March. For more general information on Maxine's Tap Room, visit their website right here.
