Warrior Gabby Book Processing & Warehouse is not your typical used bookstore.
The warehouse is one of Arkansas' newest bookstores and by far one of the biggest! The locally-owned business in Searcy is part eye-popping book shop and part non-profit. Warrior Gabby supplies books to foster children and child advocacy groups around the state.

Where does Warrior Gabby get all these books, you ask?
The hundreds of thousands of books are all sourced from other warehouses around the United States. Sales are made via Amazon Prime, Ebay, and the Facebook Marketplace. Shipments come in every week so there's always a reason to come back by and shop!

Instead of rows of shelved books, the stories here are processed, sorted, and boxed.
The weekly truckloads bring about 42,000-lbs. of books each time which means the team sorts through about 10,000-lbs. of books a day! The titles are organized by genre and placed in giant cardboard boxes for customers to sift through.
Regardless of actual retail value, all of the books at Warrior Gabby are sold by the pound or box. Find a stack of new reads for only 75¢/pound or bring home a box for $20! Boxes are approximately 30-40-lbs.
Every genre has its own mega box (or two) brimming with books.
You never know what treasures you'll find while digging through these boxes! Maybe you'll discover a childhood favorite or a recent award-winning title.
Standard paperbacks aren't the only thing to dig through at the warehouse!
The warehouse also has audio books, vintage books, and author-signed books as well! In addition to these, Warrior Gabby also carries DVDs, CDs, VHS, computer games, console games, and vinyl all for a dollar or two!
The team at Warrior Gabby are supplying more than books and good service, as their mission statement declares:
"As Warriors, our enemy is the fear within children; our mission is to remove that fear. We seek to work towards that goal through empowerment by being able to supply knowledge in the form of free children’s books to all Foster Children and Child Advocacy Groups in need."
