The Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden in Little Rock’s Riverfront Park is such an artistic escape in Arkansas. Now you can visit without leaving home! This art walk started small in 2004 with four pieces but now contains over 100 pieces scattered along the Arkansas River shoreside. No travel is needed if you're wanting to visit the Vogel Schwartz Sculpture Garden in downtown Little Rock Riverfront Park. Over 80 of the sculptures around the park have been added to a virtual tour filled with informative tidbits.
The sculpture garden is a wonderful array of art both literal and abstract.

Many of the pieces are human or animal sculptures, both realistic and more characterized. Elwood by Herb Mignery is one of the more whimsical animals to spot. He's stop #46.

On stop #58 of virtual tour, Through Looking Glass has quite a bit of information including the authorial intent. Sculptor Mark Leichliter explains, "I was trying to have a way for Little Rock to see itself…I messed with the idea of reflections. On one side, it has a reflection that’s a single [piece]. It represents the community and how it works as a whole. On the other side, it’s all broken up into individual [pieces] and that represents the individuals of the community and how they work together to make it work."

Known as STEADY by Clay Enoch, this sculpture is Bill Clark. Bill was a local civic leader that's most recognized for his work on the Clinton Presidential Center. You can view him on the tour at stop #72.
This park is definitely worth visiting in person but a virtual tour is a wonderful way to see the art up close without leaving home!
