The well-known trail can be found just south of Ponca, Arkansas. Drivers will take Highway 43 South to Highway 21. Turn left and go two miles to the Boxley Bridge that crosses the Buffalo River. Drivers will then turn right onto a gravel road and continue about 6 miles. Just a quarter mile from the trailhead, drivers pass the Cave Mountain Church & Cemetery on the right.
