When you look around Arkansas’s location in the United States, your eyes might wander to bigger towns just hours away. There are essentially two sections of Arkansas. The northern part of the state contains the beautiful mountainous territory while the southern part of the state is the Arkansas Delta and the Gulf Coastal Plain.

Arkansas residents don't shy away from putting in a long day of work. Of course we have our households to support and we like the paycheck that working yields. However, there's a work ethic among Arkansans that pushes us to complete a job the right way, even if it means starting over from the beginning to get everything right.

Once people actually visit Arkansas, they realize there's a lot going on around here. By the time visitors and tourists try the amazing food or spend a weekend on the lake, the fact that our state's had its share of notorious politicians television personalities is a faraway notion.
5. There are diamonds in the ground here. DIAMONDS. Not everyone knows this.

Nobody else in America has a diamond-bearing site that everyone can visit. We'll always brag about the Crater of Diamonds as long as people continue to make history by successfully discovering a new diamond - two new ones were unearthed in 2015!
4. We're genuinely friendly people, and that goes against the usual stereotype.

There are several stereotypes about Arkansas and surrounding states. You'll have to visit to find out how friendly Arkansas residents can truly be. So many helpful and generous people are here in Arkansas - and we're not self serving in our giving. Serving without expecting service in return is a great mindset of the people in this great state.

There's nothing like driving through the Natural State no matter what season it is. Even if you're just traveling through Arkansas or you're here for a little while, many roads in the Natural State will lead you to incredibly scenic locations.

Having awesome state parks in Arkansas leads to amazing school experiences. Every kid who's been lucky enough to attend an Arkansas school has a great memory of a field trip taken to a place where you could climb, stretch your limbs, and have a great time with friends.

Arkansas is constantly growing. Construction (whether on the road or on personal/business property) is an accepted way of life here. Also as a state that has to be prepared for anything when it comes to weather, Arkansas is great at starting anew after suffering a natural disaster.
