She loves exploring the trails around the Buffalo National River and has yet to find a waterfall that wasn't her favorite.
If you’ve been rained out from your normal outdoor activities (looking at y’all in the River Valley) then today’s feature will be a welcomed relief. Let’s still enjoy the scenery of the Natural State while sitting comfortably in front of a hearty dinner and a glass of wine.
Arkansas boasts a small handful of scenic train rides all throughout the state. The Eureka Springs train is our favorite for a short and sweet trip.
The excursion train and the lunch train both deserve a trip but let's climb aboard for the dinner train. You can board for a delicious meal during Tues, Wed, Fri, or Sat.
The heavy forested area does open up to a photo-worthy creek during the journey. You'll need to take the excursion train if you'd like a narrated tour, otherwise let's sip on and see what's on the menu.
The menu has five different choices including prime rib or trout. Pick a pairing from their wine and champagne list before tucking into a full on feast. All entrees come with sides, rolls, as well as soup and salad. Just be sure to save room for the Flaming Baked Alaska for dessert!
This quiet escape is perfect for a romantic outing or just some well-earned "me time."
Tickets to the dinner train are $40.50/person and can be booked by visiting the ES&NA website right here. Everyone ages 5 and older are welcome in the train car.
