Coffee and pancakes are fine at chain eateries but nothing can’t replace the flavor of a local favorite. Susan’s Restaurant can fill you up for both breakfast and lunch. Their stuffed omelets are eggcellent and may just be the best in all of Arkansas! You’ll need to have a taste for yourself to decide but until then let’s drool over some of the menu options:
There's no doubt about it, all of the food whipped up at Susan's Restaurant is delectable.
This diner is an Arkansas treasure and a delicious one at that! They're proud of their "World Famous Here Locally" reputation and they have the flavor to back it up. Susan's is open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day for breakfast and lunch.
You can't go wrong with any of the fill-you-up options — just the thought of breakfast tacos makes us drool — but the omelets here are a must.
These omelets are hefty and hearty! Every omelet is "stuffed not fluffed" which means you get a mouthful of flavorful fillings in every bite. Each one is made burrito-style: a layer of scrambled eggs are cooked on the grill, topped with savory goodies, then wrapped and folded.
It's impossible to choose a favorite here. Susan's offers nine designed omelets with a range of flavors. Show your Razorback pride with the Pig Sooie (ham, sausage, bacon, and cheese) or stay lighter with the California (avocado, bacon, spinach, tomatoes, onions, and cheese). After you've worked through these nine, you can create-your-own with more than 15 fillings to mix and match.
