There's a tiny garden hiding in middle of a Fayetteville neighborhood that's well worth the stop.
Unless you're specifically looking for it or live nearby, the World Peace Wetlands Prairie is easy to miss. It's located at 1121 S Duncan Ave., Fayetteville, AR 72701.
The World Peace Wetland Prairie is part community garden, part natural area, and an all around relaxing visit.
These little sanctuaries are important to urban areas since the soil and plants are a natural filter to the runoff water that eventually reaches watersheds and drinking reservoirs. They also help prevent flooding to the surrounding neighborhood.

They were a bit woolly when we visited but the mixed wildflower scents were sublime. The gardens are great for anyone with a good book or folks who what to get their hands dirty.
