Though we do love the flower variety, certainly! The Rick Evans Grandview Prairie has the honor of being the nation's largest contiguous tract of blackland prairie in public ownership (according to Arkansas.com). The nearly 5,000-acre prairie is the home to a diverse collection of flora and fauna.
There's more than rolling hills in this preserved area as well!

This is one of the Caddo Mounds that can be found at the prairie. Native American, specifically Caddo, made their home here way before the area was dubbed Grandview. A variety of artifacts have been found here and are displayed in the education center.

The state-of-the-art shooting range and 3-D archery range can be booked by appointment for anyone wanting to work on their bow or shotgun skills. The education center offers a myriad of learning programs focused on nature, archeology, paleontology, and cultural. Be sure to follow their Facebook Page and website for updates on when these programs have restarted.
You don't have to stay indoors to learn at the prairie though!

The Rick Evans Grandview Prairie Wildlife Management Area includes two watershed lakes and four fishing holes. Grab a pole and go or try one of the education center's canoeing classes!
