Below you’ll find thirteen pizza places that all need to make it onto your Arkansas bucket list right away. The good news is that these pizza joints are spread all over the state and many of them have multiple locations, so you probably won’t have to go far to get started. For an adventure full of cheesy fun, try these iconic Arkansas pizzerias.
A brewery and a pizzeria all in one? YES PLEASE. Vino’s is popular for three reasons: they make fresh, delicious brews, it’s a great venue for up and coming bands, and their pizza is absolutely delectable. You can visit Vino’s at 923 West 7th Street in Little Rock.
What happens when a Brooklyn pizza maker moves down South? Deluca’s is what happens. These pizzas are baked in an authentic brick oven, proving that Arkansans don’t have to get on a plane to have an delicious, authentic Napoletana pizza. Deluca’s is located at 407 Park Avenue in Hot Springs.
3. Damgoode Pies (Little Rock, Fayetteville, & Rogers)
With four locations in the Natural State, Damgoode Pies is a much more than a darn good name. Their pizzas have been voted the best in Arkansas by the readers of the Arkansas Times a total of nine times. Most of all you’ll want to pay attention to their specialty pizzas, which have everything you could want from your pizza experience. 1812 Pizza Company is located at 623-B West State Highway 18 in Manila and 2815-A Race Street in Jonesboro.
For some of the best thin crust pizza in Arkansas, you need to head over to Jonesboro to Upper Crust Pizza Company. They specialize in the kind of non-greasy thin crust pizza that relies more on cheese and meat than dough. You can find these freshly made pizzas at 1810 Highland Drive in Jonesboro.
If you’re looking for award-winning pizza in a small town setting, look no further than the small town of Gassville. Nima’s Pizza holds honors for second best traditional pizza in the (entire!) world and was honored to be called "pizza with heart and soul" by Food Network.
