Situated in the far northwest corner of the state, Siloam Springs is well known among local photographers as well as visitors for the historic quality and natural beauty of its downtown area. The Light Up Siloam Springs holiday festival is popular with photographers as well.
The architecture on the campus of ASU-Mountain Home, styled after that of the University of Virginia, is worth a photographer's glance, but in addition to the campus there are areas surrounding Mountain Home that are definitely photogenic. Norfork Lake is east of town while Bull Shoals Lake is to the northwest of Mountain Home. The city is located within 15 to 20 minutes of three rivers, the Buffalo National River, the White River, and the North Fork River.

The largest town in southeast Arkansas south of Pine Bluff, Monticello has a prosperous town history that remains a strong part of local culture in the 21st century. Whether a photographer is on the grounds of the U of A at Monticello or on North Main Street catching quality shots, this is a great old town for photo hounds.
This charming southwest Arkansas town has an equally quaint courthouse square that's great for taking pictures of well-maintained historic locations. Colorful murals that tell Magnolia's history are on buildings throughout the town and will definitely catch a photographer's eye.
