Come for the food at Janssen’s Lakefront Restaurant but stay for the relaxing atmosphere. This decades-old eatery will have you feeling full and refreshed. Let’s watch the boats come in as we dine and explore around this gorgeous lakeside joint.
Janssen's Lakefront Restaurant is special for a couple of reasons.
Not only is it one of the most beloved family-owned restaurants in the state, it's also the only eatery right on Greers Ferry Lake. You can arrive at Janssen's Lakefront Restaurant by car or by boat for a unique dining experience.
Address: 9999 Edgemont Road, Edgemont, AR 72044
The menu is a mix of family recipes as well as classic comforts with modern flair.
The restaurant opened in the late 70s by Fred Janssen. His son, Tim, took over the business in 2000. The southern comfort foods like chicken fried steak and old fashion hamburgers have been on the menu for 40 years but more refined flavors are available, too. Daily lunch specials like the Pork Osso Bucco to the Grilled Rainbow Trout with a Bourbon Pecan Glaze will keep your taste buds tantalized.

The eye-popping desserts will give you an excuse to sit and chat a while.
In-house pies with mile-high meringue, toppling 6-layer cakes, and other daily surprises are irresistible even after a filling meal. Try to find room or take a slice for your next Greers Ferry adventure.
The food is unquestionably delicious but the atmosphere of Janssen's Lakefront Restaurant is what makes each visit complete. Watch the boats come in and relish the fresh air on their lakeside patio.
Burn off a few calories by exploring the gems along the shore.
After you've tucked in and checked out, take a moment to savor the nature around Greers Ferry Lake. One of the more underrated treasures is this abandoned bridge near the restaurant. The bridge to nowhere will take you to a flora-filled "road" along the lake.
Drive (or boat) to Janssen's Lakefront Restaurant for a positively peaceful escape on the lake.
