If you want to enjoy a quiet retreat in Eureka Springs, then head to this secluded treehouse forest. These cottages provide an amazingly memorable getaway perfect for couples. Let’s take to the trees and explore this forested haven.
Treehouse lodging options are scattered all around Arkansas but the ones in Eureka Springs are some of our favorites. They’ll be your favorite too after a night!
The unique cottages have gained popularity in more recent years, but the Original Treehouse Cottages have been around since 1991. The cottages are owned and operated by Terry and Patsy Miller, some of the nicest folks you’ll every meet.
Address: 165 W Van Buren, Eureka Springs, Arkansas 72632
Seven treehouses (and one ground-level cottage) provide a charming experience either in town or in the woods.
Four of the treehouses are tucked away in the "Hidden Forest," a 33-acre privately-owned pine forest. The area is about a mile outside of town so you’ll be close to all the Eureka Springs’ attractions without having to listen to the traffic at night.
The cottages are about 25 feet off the ground and supported by five sturdy poles. The treehouses were designed and built by the Millers, including the interior structures like cabinets and railings. Because of the height, these treehouses can only hold two adults.

Since these treehouses are intended for couples, the perfect romantic retreat awaits!
Enjoy the heart-shaped jacuzzi overlooking the forest, the wood-caved king size bed, and all the modern amenities. Wifi is included but we prefer the sunset views from the picture window.
Depending on which treehouse you pick, rates are between $149-169/night. Be sure to plan your trip in advanced since these cottages stay booked regularly. For more information and to reserve your stay, visit the Original Treehouse Cottages' website right here. You can also follow their Facebook Page.
