The winter holidays have nearly come and gone so the next celebration to look forward to will be New Years. From kid-friendly festivities to fine dining dance parties, Arkansas has a variety of ways to ring in the new 2018 year. Plan your celebration as we look at some of the happenings taking place.
1. Swing in the New Year - Eureka Springs
The Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs is hosting their 130th Swing in the New Year. This "classy, upscale & sexy" celebration will start with a four-course dinner in the Crystal Dining Room and feature entertainment by the band Swing and a Miss.

2. Noon Year's Eve - Bentonville
This was too sweet to not include. If you have an adult-oriented night planned for later than this is one way to celebrate with the whole family beforehand. No broken bedtimes at the Crystal Bridges Museum's Noon Years. The event will have art projects, performances, family dance party, and a Coke toast at noon. Better yet, it's free!

3. New Year’s Eve "Downton Abbey" Holiday Package - Little Rock
If you're looking for an experience rather than just an event, we have the perfect place for you. The Empress of Little Rock is hosting a NYE package that will transport you to December 31st, 1889. The package begins with an aproned maid serving bubbly, reservations and $100 voucher to your choice of three upscale restaurants, and returning to your Victorian suite to enjoy liquor and chocolates. The next day will feature a champagne New Year’s Day brunch provided by a gloved and tailored butler.

The Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs has three different ways to ring in the new year. Begin with the kid-friendly celebration buffet in the Venetian Dining Room then choose from Festival Party or the Gala Dinner Dance. The party includes music by White Chocolate, party favors, and champagne toast. The dinner dance will have a five-course gourmet dinner, live music by the 16-piece orchestra Stardust Big Band, and champagne toast.

6. Last Night Fayetteville
You're in for an endless night of entertainment at Arkansas' biggest NYE celebration. The headline feature will be indie rockers Randall Shreve & The DeVilles but after that it's a toss up of what to choose next until the pig drop at midnight. Will it be the classical yet bawdy True Grit & Grind Burlesque? Side-splitting laughs from Comedians NWA? Or the mesmerizing fire dancing from Sacred Somatics? What's even better, this is one of the few events with a kids stage so the whole family can enjoy the night!
