Slowly but surely fall is making its way to Arkansas. Take advantage of these mild weekends with a quick hike or two! Meadowbrook is a short and sweet frolic through the fields in Russellville. Let’s pack up the family and head to this relaxing little nature walk in the woods.
It's easy to have a picture-perfect day at Lake Dardanelle State Park since the whole place is absolutely stunning.
The trail is just under a mile and will take about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. The path is well worn but not paved so it may be a bit muddy after a rain.

This short and sweet walk through the woods will take away any stress you've accumulated throughout the week.
It may not be a grand hike up the mountain but this modest trail instantly reconnects you to nature after a few steps. The multiple footbridges throughout the loop will guide you over creeks and between the trees.
