The December holidays have wrapped up and the hangovers from New Years have passed, so now we can all look forward to festivities of Mardi Gras. Sure, there are towns around the state that throw a parade or maybe have a dinner. But there’s one city that explodes in purple, gold, and green and take visitors to the French Quarter of New Orleans year after year. Eureka Springs is hosting a myriad of festivities for the next two months. From balls to parades, let’s take a look at some of the happenings.
Our favorite eclectic city is about to have a Mardi Gras makeover for the next two months.
There's the Taste of N’Awlins at the Grand Central Hotel and Tavern (Jan. 20th) , Artigras: Palette to Palate (Jan. 25th), a benefit wine dinner (Jan. 27th), and a jazz brunch (Feb. 11th).
There's the Coronation Ball (Feb. 2nd) featuring the Grand Royal Procession at the Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center. The Basin Park Hotel will host the Mayor's Ball (Feb. 10th).
If you feel tired from just reading about all these events, it's okay, we've reached the finale. The ball will feature an oyster bar, Cajun dinner, and live music.
