One might assume that the towering cascade is a popular destination; however, that’s not exactly the case, and that’s because the hike to Big Creek Cave Falls isn’t an easy one -- but it's worth the effort.
Another hidden waterfall worth chasing is QuiVaLa Elise Falls, located within the Smith Creek Nature Preserve. These elusive falls requires a bit of grit to reach, so be sure to take a map at the start of the trail. There are all sorts of other stops in the area including other waterfalls, trails, and a canyon. It's worth finding, though, as it's one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Arkansas.
