Snow in Arkansas is rather unpredictable but this year Arkansans can bet on having one spectacular snow day. The 1st Annual Little River County Snow Day in Ashdown will feature real snow and festive activities. Everyone will feel like a kid again when they ride down the event’s massive snow slide. Let’s bundle up and see what all will be happening at this one-of-a-kind snow day.
The upcoming Foreman Christmas Parade won't be the only chance to visit Santa in Little River County.
Catch the big man in red during the parade on Dec. 8th, 2018 but then make plans to head to Ashdown next. The 1st Annual Little River County Snow Day will be on Dec. 15th at the courthouse. The event features breakfast with Santa but that's certainly not the only reason to attend.
The Snow Day will kickoff with a Jingle Bell 5k Run.
The run will begin at 7 am. Awards will be given out for best times as well as best themed costume. The breakfast with Santa will be 8 am, followed by a wagon parade at 9 am. Concessions, crafts, and games will also be happening at the Snow Day.
The event will take place on the courthouse lawn, which is located at 351 N 2nd St # 6, Ashdown, AR 71822. Each activity will cost tickets. Tickets are $1/each or $20 for 25 tickets and can be purchased the day of the event.
