Any non-motorized boats are allowed on the lake. Feel free to bring your canoes, kayaks, rowboats, rafts, or paddleboats to the lake.

Like the 4-mile Eagle View Trail that does lead to a great overlook. The trails can be enjoyed by mountain bikers or hikers.

The 4.25-mile Lake Loop Trail also travels pass some interesting rock formations. The lake also has Piney Loop and Spillway Loop trails.

Winter is an especially great time to pay a visit since the park has a pair of nesting bald eagles.
