Paradise doesn’t have to mean a remote island in the Caribbean. Lake Ouachita’s beautiful shores make for the perfect summer getaway. Let’s take a break from work and pretend we’re soaking in sun at this lovely oasis.
No plane tickets are needed to sit along the shores of this gorgeous place.
The lake is so clear that harmless jellyfish and sponges that can only live in the most pristine environments thrive there, which make it a fantastic scuba dive spot as well.
After full day on the lake, you won't be going back to stuffy hotel room.
To start planning your trip, you should visit the Lake Ouachita State Park webpage right here.
