The White River is a smorgasbord of resort eateries and seafood buffets but it’s easy to get overwhelmed with dining options. One place you should absolutely visit is JoJo’s Catfish Wharf. Part of Jack’s Resort, JoJo’s is the place to enjoy a plateful of crispy catfish fillets. Let’s head to Mountain View to catch a bite of this delicious cookin’.
After you've spent the morning trout fishing along the White River, you'll definitely need to refuel.
The Hinkles opened the establishment back in 1961. Today it's run by Hinkle daughters Pam and Jo and son-in-law Mike. Amenities at the resort have been modernized but other than that not much has changed at this beloved eatery. The canoe salad bar is still delicious and the catfish is ridiculously addicting.
It is JoJo's specialty, after all. A pile of fillets come with all the fixin's including green tomato relish and southern style pinto beans. It may be hard to venture much further along the menu but JoJo's does have a mouthwatering ribeye, fried clams, burgers, and more.
