Hawksbill Crag Was Named The Most Beautiful Place In Arkansas And We Have To Agree
To the surprise of no one, Hawksbill Crag was recently declared Arkansas’ most beautiful spot. This beloved Natural State treasure isn’t new to recognition; after all, it’s made headlines for being the best spot for proposals, most photographic, and most romantic! We’ll never get tired of taking this picture-perfect trail!

County Road 5 is has a perfect Arkansas backroad aesthetic filled with curves and shady tree canopy. The road is best for 4-wheel drive.

The entire trail is a beautiful retreat in the trees. The trek is just under three miles long and is rated as moderate. The path is rather rocky at the inclines but most decently-fit families will be able to tackle this trail.

The valley below can be a stunning sea of green during the warmer months or turn into an explosion of color in the fall.

Give yourself a moment to take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery.

This is one spot we want to keep protecting so (like with any Arkansas trail) be sure to leave no trace! You'll also need to watch younger children (and anyone for that matter) when you've reached the cliffs. For more trail information and a map, head here.
