It’s a well known fact that Arkansas has some of the best scenic drives in the U.S. From the Talimena to the Jasper Disaster, most of these drives are quite beloved. One of the more underrated scenic drives in Arkansas is the Hamburg Haul. This southern drive takes you through winding forested roads as well as some interesting pit stops.
With its winding curves and dense forests, the Hamburg Haul is quite the stunning drive.

The close treeline makes the drive beautiful but the stops along the way keep it interesting.
There's plenty of places to stretch your legs like at the Wiggins Cabin in Crossett. The cabin had been the oldest structure in the county before a fire desecrated the site in 2002. A replica (with the original twin fireplaces) was built over the site. The Wiggins Cabin Festival takes place at the site during the fall. The drive's pine forests are broken up with picturesque farms and pasture.
In addition to the natural forest in the area, tree farms are scattered throughout the drive. During the summer your family can stop to enjoy the pick-your-own vegetables at the Triple M Farms. It's located along the drive at 2383 Highway 189 N, Hamburg, AR 71646.

One of the quieter state parks is just a small detour from the scenic drive, too.
Marks' Mill Historic Battlefield Site is about another ten minutes after you've reached the end of the lovely Hamburg Haul. It's the perfect place for a celebratory picnic as well as a quick history lesson. Use this map for directions.
The Hamburg Haul may be a motorcyclist's dream but it's quite a gorgeous trip no matter what you're driving.
All you need to bring is a set of wheels (two or four are just fine), a good playlist, and maybe a friend or two to enjoy this stunning southern drive.
