Spring and Christmas are perfectly fine times to see the gardens but don't forget about the stunning foliage of fall! What may be considered an "off season" is still a perfectly gorgeous time to plan a day trip.
Some of the attractions are year-round but have a fun flair for fall.

The playground and fairy garden are both a little spooky for the season. As the trees begin to change color you can climb to the top of the garden's tree house for a bird's eye view of the jaw-dropping foliage.

The garden features thousands of chrysanthemums blooms during October and November. Other peaked pretties are camellias, roses, pyracantha, and beautyberries (pyracantha).

The fall foliage is expected to peak during the first half of November. In addition to the oranges and yellows, you can also expect deep reds from the garden's Japanese maples.
