There's No Way You Won't Love Spending The Night At This 90-Year-Old General Store In Arkansas
After you’ve spent the day floating along the Caddo River you’ll definitely need to stay the night at the Gap Mercantile. This general store has a rather unique feature – it’s also part lodging! Let’s peruse this little-bit-of-everything shop before heading to the perfectly cozy cottage in the back.

The general store originally opened back in 1932 but the McWilliams family revived this piece of history in 2017. It's located within walking distance of the Caddo River at 35 Vaught St., Caddo Gap, AR 71935.

The store is filled with old school treats like candy sticks and soda. There's also a ton of local goodies available like roasted coffee, honey, jams, and more.
