One of the more colorful waterfalls that we love to visit during summer is deep within the Ozark National Forest. Let’s take a drive to this emerald gem and see how many adventures we can have.
The Richland Wilderness Area is home to dozens of gorgeous waterfalls and endless trails. Today's feature is easily accessible and absolutely beloved by all who visit.
This gorgeous waterfall excursion can enjoyed via scenic drive, hike, or swim. You'll love your trip no matter if you spend ten minutes or a few hours at this emerald waterfall-fed pool. Use this map for directions to the area.

This beautiful area is well worth the drive through the Ozarks to reach. Accessing the waterfall is as easy as parking along the side of the road and taking a few steps.
Turn your scenic drive into a full-fledged adventure by hiking along side the creek or setting up a tour through the nearby Falling Water Horse Camp. Their website can be viewed right here. Reservation-free camping is located towards the end of Upper Falling Water Road as well. The area has 11 family camping areas and vault toilets.

There's really no better (or more beautiful) place to cool off than by swimming in the waterfall-fed pool below. The swimming area has a rope swing and shady grotto to enjoy too!
