It’s undeniable that Arkansas is one of the best places in the world to visit. We certainly live up to being the natural state because of our beautiful trails, falls, caves, forests, the list goes on. Unfortunately, we’re not really a best kept secret anymore. Some of our state staples tend to get overcrowded but not to worry. We’ve found some of the best spots to visit if you’re like me and hate crowds. Your bubble won’t get popped in these secluded, off-the-beaten-path places.
Some people seem to forget the Arkansas trail system does, in fact, exist in the colder months. Yes, you may need to bundle in layers but there's nothing better than crunching along in the quiet.

There's no bumping elbows when you're 277-ft. in the air. The zip-line at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch is the fastest, highest, and longest line in the state. Have all the thrill of a theme park without the crowd.

Arkansas has some of the best riding roads in America. Even if you're not on a motorcycle, the roads are a great way to see the state's beauty without bumping into hikers. We love the scenic 7 Byway but the I-49 through the Boston Mountains is a close second.
White Oak Lake State Park is one of the underrated parks of Arkansas. It may be overshadowed by Mount Magazine or Devil's Den but that makes it the perfect place to escape from crowds. This park is great for camping, biking, or fishing on the the lake.
