Don't be intimidated by the full 22 miles, the trail is broken into five segments that are all under 7 miles each. All you need to do is pick a put-in and paddle!
There are even a couple of spots to pitch a tent if you'd like to take on the full trail.

Primitive creek-side camping is available at the Snow Access, the Brooksher Crooked Creek Preserve, and — with permission — the Fred Berry Conservation Education Center. Keep in mind these spots are accessed via creek so be sure you packed all the essentials!
