Arkansas native, Carol Ann Carson, has written for OnlyInYourState for three years now. She resides in Western Arkansas' Mountain Frontier but calls NWA home as well. The graduate of University of Arkansas - Fort Smith, Carol Ann earned her B.A. in English and will soon be pursing her M.A. in Library Science. She loves exploring the trails around the Buffalo National River and has yet to find a waterfall that wasn't her favorite.
Anytime you head outside into the gorgeous outdoors of the Natural State you can be assured every trip will be a memorable one. It may not be a waterfall in the wilderness or atop the highest mountain but the Cooper Chapel Trail has it’s own unforgettable destination.
This trail may not be a wild trek in the mountains, nevertheless it leads to the most unforgettable destination.
The name gives it away but the Cooper Chapel Trail does lead to the E. Fay Jones' designed chapel. It's located at 504 Memorial Dr., Bella Vista, AR 72714.
Our favorite thing about this hike is its accessibility.
The Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel is jaw-dropping every time you see it. It's easy to see why this is one of the top wedding destinations in the state. Regardless of the occasion, you'll definitely fall in love with this little trail and inspiring chapel.
