Lake Hamilton is quite the central hub in Hot Springs.
The beautiful lake is nearly as old as the city. The impoundment was created in 1932 in conjunction with the Ouachita River's Carpenter Dam construction. Today, Lake Hamilton has tons of water activities, eateries, and lovely parks. Your fun on the lake doesn't have to stop after the sun goes down however.

This spot originally served as a bait shop back in the 1950s. The King of Cowboys, Roy Rogers even obtained his fishing license at this location! It was rebuilt in 2004 by the beloved local celebrity Maxwell Blade. He's operated the the Maxwell Blade Theatre of Magic for decades and owns the Curiosity Museum next door to the theatre.

The master illusionist has left magical touches all throughout the space.
