There’s no question that Arkansas is our favorite place in the country. There are some spots that just make you feel like there’s nowhere else on Earth you’d rather be. Let’s look at some of these places that make Arkansas better than anywhere else.
The first designated national river in the U.S. never fails to impress. This is one river where you could easily plan a year's worth of activities around, from summer float trips to winter equestrian trails.
The successful reintroduction of 112 elk in the 1980s has grown to a 500-member herd that can be best viewed along Ark. 43 and Ark. 21 in Boxley Valley. It's downright majestic to see these creatures roam through the morning fog.

This may be the most beautiful spot in all of Arkansas (but that's an extremely hard decision for anyone to make). Mirror Lake, its falls, and Blanchard Springs Caverns should be on everyone's bucket list. Take advantage of the rainbow trout fishing heaven or just hike around and enjoy the view.

The 210-acre gardens in Hot Springs has no shortage of gorgeous flowers and architecture. Any seasonal visit promises for a memorable experience but our absolute favorite is the Tulip Extravaganza in spring.
