There’s still time for an excellent camping trip in Arkansas this summer, and these campsites deliver when it comes to family fun and making memories. Check out these campsites across the Natural State for some real summer fun.
11. Devil's Den State Park
The Fossil Flats Multi-use Trail and 14 (of the 24) sites in Camping Area "A" at Devil's Den State Park are closed temporarily beginning June 27 while damages from flash flooding in Lee Creek the evening of June 26 are being assessed. It is not known at this time when the trail and these 14 campsites will reopen. All other trails, campsites, and other facilities and areas within the park are open.
10. Lake Degray
DeGray Lake Resort State Park offers 113 campsites with water and electric hookups. Locations vary from lakeshore to shaded woodland, including YURT accommodations.
9. Beaver Lake
Beaver Lake is generally popular with Arkansas campers; Hickory Creek in particular is one of the more popular campsites in the lake area.
8. Lake Greeson
Situated on Lake Greeson's shore, Daisy State Park is the perfect camp for enjoying this area's many outdoor recreational opportunities. Park facilities include 103 campsites (26 Class A, 56 Class B, and 21 Tent Sites).
7. Lake Catherine
YURTs are available among other campground facilities at this popular Arkansas state park.
6. Lake Fort Smith
The Cabins at Lake Fort Smith State Park are designed to be reminiscent of the WPA style of the old Lake Fort Smith State Park. Cabins are crafted of stone and wood and use some of the reclaimed stone from the old park site. The cabins are nestled in the woods over Lake Fort Smith to maintain privacy and seclusion.

4. Mount Nebo
In 1933, a portion of the mountain was chosen as a park site. Native stone and logs from Mount Nebo were used by the Civilian Conservation Corps to construct many of the park's bridges, trails, rustic-style cabins, and pavilions.
The park offers 34 campsites.
