Clearly the home of woodland fairies, Mirror Lake is a spectacular area. The lake is great for rainbow trout fishing or mindful meditation.

This wildlife refuge spans 7,000 acres of farmland and bottomland hardwoods and provides endless chances to see native species. Stand atop the observation tower to spot eagles or pick a trail to glimpse deer or even a bobcat.

Sam's Throne is a top spot photography destination in the state. Rock climbers and hikers can be rewarded with views the Big Creek Valley but even just standing next to the massive rocks is a humbling experience.

The Arkansas view is just as breathtaking from the mountain tops as it is below ground. Blanchard Springs Caverns is the greatest cave system underneath the Ozark National Forest. Visitors are in luck with a two for one trip since Mirror Lake is just a short trail away from the cave.
