As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Feel like you’re the only person in the world at these gorgeously secluded cabins around Marshall. The Aux Arc Wilderness Cabins are a dream for any Arkansas nature lover! Let’s disconnect from the busy world for a weekend and visit these stunning wilderness cabins.
Please note, Aux Arc Wilderness Cabins are no longer available for rent.
The Aux Arc Wilderness adventure begins before you even reach the cabins.
Before getting to the cabins you'll need to cross Rush Creek. The bridge that crosses the creek is the largest privately-owned suspension bridge in the state! The 94-ft. bridge was built by the cabin's owner, Rod Corley, in 2015 to prevent anyone being stranded by flooding. The bridge may not stick out to every traveler but most Arkansans will feel the need to stop and snap a picture or two before continuing.
The set of cabins can accommodate your quiet rendezvous for two...
The Loafer's Glory is the cabin you'll want for a getaway with your partner. The one-bedroom has all the comforts of home as well as an outdoor fire pit for late night marshmallows. It sits on the same site as the original settler homestead so this cabin has some of the best views of the property!
In addition to the standard-sized Loafer's Glory and Trapper cabins, there's also the Lodge. This two-story cabin has spacious living room, full kitchen, and two bathrooms. The Lodge can comfortably accommodate six guests for a long weekend.
If you want more of a glamping experience than full cabin, reserve the Aux Arc yurt! You'll be sleeping in style in this 300-sq. ft. yurt since it comes with heating/air, a full kitchen, and bathroom. Any of the lodging options at Aux Arc are splendid but we're particularly fond of this luxurious yurt.
After you've settled in, you'll need to take an adventure or two around the property.
There's no misnomer to the "wilderness" in Aux Arc Wilderness Cabins! The private 80 acres includes three trails, a cave, the creek and river, and endless chances to connect with nature. Plan a paddle or just mosey around and relax at this gorgeous place.
The Aux Arc Wildness Cabins are ready for your family's next getaway.
Whether you're bringing a whole group or just one other, these cabins will send you on a much needed retreat in the Ozarks. Rates depend on what cabin you choose but start at $119/night. For more information you can head to their website or follow their Facebook Page.
