As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
If you’re looking for a nearby retreat for all of your Caddo River adventures, At Living Water Cabins can offer a relaxing night or two away. The cabins are right on Collier Creek, which means there’s plenty of stunning green scenery and recreational opportunities. Let’s check in and chill out at these cozy cabins in the forest.
Nestled in the southern portion of the Ouachita National Forest resides a secluded cabin getaway.
At Living Water Cabins are a few miles north of Caddo Gap in the Ouachitas. The waterfront cabins face Collier Creek and have easy access to the more famous Caddo River.
The cabins are named Love, Faith, Hope, and Peace and each one will welcome you to a weekend of tranquility.
Each of the cabins is a one bedroom and one bath, with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Enjoy your home-away-from-home as a romantic getaway or take the family for a weekend away.
Soak in the Jacuzzi-style tub or unwind with a movie. Feel comfortable anytime of year with the heating and A/C, too. The cabins also carry tons of books and brochures about recreational activities in the surrounding area.
If your family is a little large for one of the standard cabins, stay at the lodge instead!
The Family Lodge is a three bedroom, two bath that has the same comforts of the other cabins. In addition to the larger lodge, At Living Water also features a campsite for a more rustic retreat.
The cabins are only a few yards away from Collier Creek, but that's not the only scenic view to enjoy.
Nor is the creek the only activity! Besides the fishing, floating, and swimming of Collier or Caddo, other must-see attractions are within driving distance. Dig for crystals at Wegner Crystal Mines or diamonds at Crater of Diamonds State Park. Spend the day at Hot Springs or stay in the woods along the Winding Stairs Trail. The options for your weekend are endless!
Check in and float away at your personal waterside retreat.
Cabins are about $120/night with a 2 night minimum. You can book your stay right here. Follow At Living Water Cabins' Facebook Page for even more photos of the property.

The Caddo River is only one of the best canoe rivers to explore in Arkansas. Be sure to plan a trip or two to the others!
