Hidden away in the Ozarks, you’ll find a state park that comes alive in the fall. Devil’s Den State Park in October is a good place to find a dense forest in the full depth of fall color. The trails are plentiful there, and the trees are absolutely magical.

Paris is located in the shadow of Mount Magazine, and it’s such a charming little town that you’ll never want to leave. Right up the road from the charming little town you’ll find the stunning overlooks of Mount Magazine State Park, and there’s simply no fall vista like the one from Arkansas’s highest mountain.

McGarrah Farms has free hayrides, a mule train, and a huge pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkin from the vine. This family-owned farm is a whole afternoon of fall fun just waiting to happen.

Arkansas’s most famous rock offers a view of Ozarks fall color like no other. There really isn’t any other place like Hawksbill Crag, and the hike that takes you there will show you lovely fall color from the inside of the forest.
