The Lake Ouachita Shores Resort is perfectly situated on Arkansas’s clearest lake. If you’ve got a boat you want to use to explore the lake’s more than 100 islands, you’ll love their full service marina. Even if you don’t have a boat, you can rent one. You might also be interested in the acres and acres of the Ouachita National Forest that borders the property.
If hunting is your ultimate retreat, you’ll be glad to know about Pluck a Duck Goose and Duck Lodge. This lodge sits on more than 20,000 acres of private land that’s absolutely perfect for hunting waterfowl. You can spend your time on a guided hunt, after you get a good night’s sleep and enjoy your continental breakfast.

Degray Lake Resort State Park is Arkansas’s only resort state park, and the word "resort" certainly comes to mind as soon as you see the lodge. The lodge was built on an island in DeGray Lake, and there’s nothing like seeing that scenic lake from one of their ninety-six guest rooms. If you’re not thinking of staying in the lodge, you can also grab lunch in the Shoreline Restaurant.

There are actually three separate places to stay at Azalea Falls: the lodge, the cabin, and the bed and breakfast. The lodge is 3,000 square feet, done in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright. The surrounding forest makes for a lovely place to get in touch with nature, and Azalea Falls’ proximity to Boxley Valley and the Buffalo National River makes the lodge the perfect place to retreat to luxury after an adventure outdoors.

Queen Wilhelmina State Park is the treasure at the end of the Talimena Scenic Drive. The second highest mountain in Arkansas is where you’ll find the lodge at Queen Wilhelmina State Park. There are forty guest rooms at the lodge, and plenty of places to gaze out at the Ouachitas.

PJ’s White River Lodge is located on one of the best trout fishing rivers in the United States. On top of prime fishing, PJ’s also offers you some serious comfort in their eight rooms, an incredible dining experience, and a view of the White River from their expansive deck that will knock your socks off.
The highest point in Arkansas has a beautiful lodge sitting right on top of it. Those incredible view of gorgeous Lake Norfork and all the recreation available on that lake sure add to its appeal.
Mather Lodge is located in the oldest state park here in Arkansas, and it has charm, history, and views that you’ll never forget. There are twenty-four guest rooms, a restaurant, and several nearby cabins that will make your stay incredible.
