When it comes to celebrating Christmas in Arizona, the options are pretty much endless. For something a little different, you can’t beat ZooLights at the Phoenix Zoo. It features millions of lights, live reindeer, themed snacks, an ice slide, and a lantern safari with all your favorite critters. Check out some of the best Christmas lights in Arizona at the Phoenix Zoo!
Every year around Christmastime, the Phoenix Zoo puts on Arizona's wildest holiday celebration.
With millions of lights, entertainment, themed snacks, a carousel, camel rides and so much more, the Christmas lights at the Phoenix Zoo is truly a can't-miss family-friendly festivity.
Stroll through hundreds of dazzling displays featuring all your favorite creatures.
Meet African elephants, meerkats, a village of monkeys, and many more familiar faces (plus some you've likely never seen before). Lantern festivals typically occur at the end of January, but the zoo is putting its own twist on a traditional Chinese celebration.
Maybe we'll even get to see live reindeer here once again.
They have quite the journey to embark on next month but are more than happy to spare a few moments for some photos if they're able to this year. Maybe Rudolph will illuminate the night with his effervescent red sniffer!
Sedona: While the land of the red rocks is a popular destination throughout the year, it’s even more magical during the holiday season. Tlaquepaque is especially festive in Sedona with the lighting of 6,000 luminaria.
Scottsdale: As a resident of this city, I have attended Christmas at the Princess for the past several years and it never gets old. Not only is the city home to this festive event but also to some epic neighborhood displays plus the Enchant Light Maze.
If you’re in the Tucson area, the annual Winerhaven Festival of Lights is worth checking out. This is the city’s largest holiday event that turns the city into a winter wonderland!
