There’s something magical about sharing an emotional moment with thousands of complete strangers. One festival brings people from all walks of life together to cast their problems, fears, and struggles into the water. Arizonans can take part in it on November 10, 2018 in Lake Havasu – click here for more information.
Friends and strangers alike gather to celebrate life and all the struggles that shape us into unique individuals. Local charities and non-profit organizations receive a portion of the proceeds, so casting your heaviest burdens into the water has a much bigger purpose.
Gates open three hours before sunset, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy food trucks, live music, and other fun activities. Lantern decorating begins one hour before sunset.
Each ticket includes admission, one lantern, and a marker for writing, as well as a commemorative drawstring bag and bracelet. The fee also covers time volunteers spend retrieving lanterns and cleaning up any other trash after sundown.
Whether your lantern is used to honor a sick or deceased loved one, provide hope that life gets better by sharing a personal story of hardship, or simply offer a prayer for world peace, you have the opportunity to send a powerful message.
