The little-known Verde Hot Springs is a thermal mineral spring located in Yavapai County near the town of Camp Verde (hence the name). Once upon a time, this place was a hot springs resort said to be a hangout for some infamous outlaws; it was abandoned, however, and nowadays you can soak in the springs after doing the 2.5-mile out-and-back trail to reach it.
