As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
If your Saturday mornings as a kid involved sugary cereal (particularly Fruity Pebbles) and cartoons, you’ll love Raptor Ranch. One of the best campgrounds near the Grand Canyon, the ranch is home to Bedrock City, an iconic roadside attraction that came under new ownership in 2019. You’ll see all sorts of buildings and structures that harken back to the dinosaur age, much like those from a hit cartoon series that aired in the 1960s. Bedrock City now features a campground, so you can spend the night with all your favorite characters!
Have you ever been to Raptor Ranch? If so, we’d love to hear all about your experience in the comments! Don’t forget to check out our previous article for more things to do in the quirky town of Williams.
