Model trains aren’t just for kids – in fact, they’re the perfect conduit for the childhood innocence still present deep inside all of us. This unique indoor railroad park in Arizona lets young and old alike experience that nostalgia whether rain or shine.
Housed in a 6,000 square-foot warehouse, this toy train park is a magical experience for young and old alike. Hundreds of model railroads cover every inch of the space, coming alive at the push of a red button.
Signs hanging above each exhibit clearly indicate what scale it is. This evens the playing field and makes sure those who aren't well-versed in locomotive lingo are able to find their way around.
Decommissioned models are locked up in glass cases to ensure their legacy lives on forever. While you can't touch these highly valuable treasures, everything on the main floor is fair game for hands-on learning.
Each exhibit's owner is almost always on-site, patiently waiting to answer any questions you may have. Stools are even provided so as not to leave out the littlest train enthusiasts. As you can see, accommodating visitors is of the utmost importance here at Gadsden-Pacific!
Even more elaborate models can be found outside, such as this exact replica of an Old West town. Stick around a little while longer and allow yourself to get lost in the striking realism.
Climb aboard a miniature railroad with the kiddos and take a brief, yet magical ride around the building. You'll pass right by a restored 1944 caboose, at which point the conductor will stop and allow you to disembark and explore it.
