No matter where you are in Arizona, great Mexican food is never far away. If the area in question is Tucson’s Barrio Hollywood, there’s only one place to go: Tanias “33.” A local favorite for decades, this charming neighborhood serves up some of the best Sonora-style cuisine in the Old Pueblo.
For over 30 years, Tanias "33" has proudly served the historic West Side community of Tucson.
Tanias makes some of the biggest in town, filled to the brim with all your favorite meats, veggies, and smothered in sauce. You can even make it enchilada or chimichanga style! The handmade flour tortillas, fresh off the comal each morning, add an extra layer of authenticity that makes every bite better than the last.
Other entrees include menudo and other soups, taco salad, and various plates (breakfast and lunch/dinner.)
Hours are 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday. Visit the restaurant’s website or Facebook page to learn more.
