As if there weren’t enough places to go snow tubing in Arizona, one more has cropped up just in time for winter. Sunrise Park Resort in Greer has added a snow tubing hill to its winter activity lineup, so you can dash through a winter wonderland all season long.
Sunrise Park Resort is the ultimate destination for winter sports in Arizona.
The park offers more ski runs and acreage than anywhere else in the state, with additional activities including snowboarding, ski bikes, and tubing.
Trails range in difficulty from beginner to expert, and lessons are available for all ages (plus improvement lessons if you're just looking to brush up on your skills).
Refuel with a burger or hot dog at Eagle Feather Lodge, the second-highest place to dine in Arizona. Perched high atop Sunrise Mountain, the lodge boasts jaw-dropping panoramic vistas. You can even gaze into New Mexico! Restaurant hours are 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, and the park also has several other restaurants to choose from.
Since the snow tubing hill relies on natural snowfall, it may not be open every single day. Visit the Sunrise Park Resort website or Facebook page to learn more and/or purchase passes.
